Why is the password incorrect?

The most common reason for the login decline – incorrect e-mail or password information. While the e-mail is seen right from the start for another check-up, the password is usually concealed for security purposes, so not everyone reviews it until the error appears. In it, there can hide various types of mistakes – usual typo, wrong keyboard layout, accidental case shift, or even the password which was initially used for other platforms. In case, when none of the reasons work, it is time to use the feature for password reset.

Password recovery

To start the procedure of access recovery, the user should select “Forgot my password” button situated right under the password field. It will redirect the person to the next form which is required for reset confirmation.

From this point, the trader should enter the attached e-mail address which will be used for the recovery procedure. After sending it, the letter from the platform should arrive on the address mentioned. It will contain the link which will help to proceed with the reset.

Changing the password

From the notification, the user will get to know that the link for password restoration was successfully sent to the stated e-mail. If the address entered was not found in the Binomo database, then the error message will appear, requesting to try again.

After activating the link which was attached to the e-mail, the Binomo platform page will be opened again, showing the message that warns about password reset. If the user is ready to set up the new login code combination, it is necessary to click on “Change password” button. For the cases when the account owner did not request the password change, then the letter should remain ignored.

Create new password

Inside of the form, the user should come up with a new combination and repeat it accurately to avoid the possible typos. The next login procedure will accept only the changed password, requiring to enter only the actual data. Such changes are also immediately registered in the database, allowing to immediately return to the sign-in page.

Password recovery on mobile

If something is wrong with the password combination on the mobile version, the corresponding pop-up message will appear on the bottom of the screen. To check the spelling of the current combination, it is enough to click on the eye icon in the password field.

In case when even the seemingly right password does not work, the “Reset password” button should be selected, which is located below the “Log in” option. It will open the next menu which will contain the necessary instructions for access restoration.

Changing the password on mobile

The reset procedure will start with the request to enter the attached e-mail address, on which the account registration was completed. Then, the user will have to switch to the e-mail app to find the password restoration letter and activate it. From the page shown next, it is required to confirm the procedure and create the new combination, repeating it once again before submitting the changes.
